Blue Beetle (Volume 3) was published by Charlton Comics from June of 1967 until November of 1968. It featured the demise of Dan Garrett, the first Blue Beetle, and the debut of Ted Kord as the second Blue Beetle. This would be the last Blue Beetle related project handled by Charlton Publications. DC Comics bought the rights to the Blue Beetle in the 1980s.

Modern Comics reprinted issues #1 and #3 of this series in 1977.
