The Rifle Brigade meet their liaison officer Carrington-Shyte of the Foreign Office. Their liaison is snide and unhelpful in their search of the bollock. As Darcy criticize his lazy attitude, Carrington-Shyte directs the Rifle Brigade's attention to the sultan, who happens to be right behind them. The sultan, Ali Ben Rajapoor Rashid O'Khan, greets the men and acknowledge their search for the bollock; he invites them to a banquet that he is throwing at his grand palace, where he will discuss about the bollock.

As the sultan leave on his prized bull elephant, Darcy is deeply concern of how the Germans know they were coming as they were repelled from the Middle East two years ago, and especially of how that German fighter plane knew where to intercept them. Darcy then orders Sergeant Crumb to bring up a vehicle that the embassy had gave them to have a drive around the city. He then notice that Carrington-Shyte has disappear. Suddenly a robed assassin jumps out and attempts to kill Darcy, who effortlessly struck him down. Darcy's assassin is reveal to be German due to swearing in his native tongue before he flees. The Rifle Brigade chases after him but only to be fire upon by an armored car, which the assassin climbs into it and escape. The assassin is chastise by the driver for giving away their presence despite the assassin protesting that Darcy would have blundered into their "number one agent."

Sergeant Crumb round up with their ride, a poorly rusted Rolls-Royce armored car, and gives chase on the German car. They pass Sultan O'Khan and their car attracted the attentions of the sultan's elephant; the elephant mistakes the Brigade's car for a female elephant and start mating it, forcing the Brigade to call off the chase. The sultan's elephant suddenly dies from exhaustion and falls on the Rolls-Royce before the Rifle Brigade quickly bail out. Unfortunately, the Brigade are attack again by the same German plane. The Brigade takes cover but Darcy defiantly stands in the Focke's fire which completely misses him and forcing the pilot to retreat.

The Brigade returns to the embassy and dress up for the sultan's banquet. There, they meet American adventurer Maryland Smith, who is also looking for the bollock in the interest of the United States. Very arrogant and easily to anger, Maryland Smith takes offense when Darcy calls him "Mary" and he makes a self-inflicted loss of his right eye with his bullwhip. Darcy shares his concerns with Carrington-Shyte of how the Americans came to learn about the bollock, in which Carrington-Shyte claims that he doesn't know how.

The guests are ushered to dinner. Sultan O'Khan laments the loss of his beloved elephant from the day's fiasco and offers his respect to him by dining his flesh: he offers the Rifle Brigade the "only tastiest portion." After the Brigade - very reluctantly - ate their meal, O'Khan shows everyone the bollock. The sultan explains to his guests that given his country's poverty he plans on selling the bollock at the highest bidder. While everyone is deliberating, the sultan then brings out the women of his royal harem for entertainment. Lieutenant Milk then notice that the bollock is gone and Darcy spots one of the harem women running away with it, forcing him and the Brigade to chase after her. Their chase lead them to the palace's dungeons, where they are confronted at gunpoint by German soldiers led by the woman, who is none other than their nemesis Gerta Gasch. Gasch relish her chance on finally settling her revenge with the Rifle Brigade and returning the bollock to Nazi Germany to win the war.
